Sydney – August 30, 2013 – The National Stock Exchange of Australia (NSX), Australia’s market for growth companies, is delighted to announce the recent admission of corporate advisory firm Southasia Advisory Sdn Bhd to the ranks of NSX nominated advisers.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Southasia Advisory is the first firm to qualify as an NSX nominated adviser from outside Australia and reflects the growing demand in the region for an SME-focussed exchange with a broad community of investors, brokers and advisers supported by world class exchange technology.

NSX Chief Executive Emlyn Scott welcomed Southasia Advisory and its director and responsible officer Mr Chong Wee Chong to NSX.”The admission of Southasia Advisory is a first for NSX as our influence in capital markets begins to expand beyond our shores. As NSX sees more Asian businesses apply for listing with NSX, we are pleased to have a nominated adviser now working in the heart of South East Asia.
